EXPEDITION - NATIONAL / INTERNATIONAL
Requirements:
- be Gold Star Qualified by 31 July with NSE or provincial NSE ranking;
- be a minimum 16 years of age by September (unless noted otherwise);
- have successfully completed a Silver and a Gold Star expedition training weekend;
- have attained at minimum the bronze incentive level of the Cadet Fitness Assessment Incentive Program (CFAIP) qualified not earlier than 1 September (priority will be given to cadets who have achieved a higher incentive level);
- be medically fit IAW CATO 16-02 and have no medical restrictions (failure to declare a medical restriction is considered a breach of trust which could lead to injury and/or return to unit at parent/guardian’s expense);
- be comfortable around water and have no fear of swimming;
- possess an exemplary record of cadet service and have demonstrated a high level of personal discipline;
- have the informed consent of their parent/guardian; and
- be recommended by their corps’ Commanding Officer (CO).
National Expedition
YukonDescription: National Expedition to Yukon. The expedition will involve mountain biking and hiking.
